We were visiting from out of town recently and on our last full day of vacay we drove to Fletcher Village Bakery and Cafe for coffee and bkfst. The food, service, and friendliness and professionalism of the staff were beyond compare. It was the BEST egg sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. Come on, you say. It's just an egg sandwich! The Fletcher Village Bakery and Cafe offers a wide variety of lunch options and serves excellent food. Known for its wonderful muffins, coffee cake, and delicious fresh-baked sourdough, the bakery also impresses with its key lime bars, which are described as the perfect balance between sweet and tart. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere and a convenient location in a shopping center with ample parking. However, some customers have experienced wait times for take-out orders, and there have been issues with inventory control. Despite these challenges, the cafe remains a great spot to enjoy quality baked goods and coffee. The staff is generally pleasant, friendly, and eager to please, making it a favorite local place for quick cups or business meetings. The menu features tasty items like the sausage breakfast sandwich, croissant breakfast sandwich, and the highly recommended Morning Glory muffins. While the bakery may be a bit pricey, the items are made from scratch, ensuring a high-quality dining experience. The sweet treats in the case also look amazing, making it a popular destination for locals.
