Wonderful mom and pop BBQ spot. Everything I had was top notch. Definitely worth swinging by on a weekend drive for some grub.Parking: Gravel parking area for semi trucks, no marked spots.
I've past this spot for the past 40+ years and never known there was a restaurant/grill inside. What I shock I had when my mama and my aunt and uncle suggest we go there for lunch. I believe the brother of the guy that owned Holt Lake BBQ owns this store. Maybe I got it all wrong, but the shrimp plate was as good, if not better than a Holt Lake shrimp plate. Amazing Atmosphere, always nice people in there. Great food, especially the chicken sandwiches which I grew up on. Great service too! I don't dine in a lot but whenever I get takeout it's a very fast experience.
