8 Best Southern Restaurants near Four Oaks

“I've past this spot for the past 40+ years and never known there was a restaurant/grill inside. What I shock I had when my mama and my aunt and uncle suggest we go there for lunch. I believe the brother of the guy that owned Holt Lake BBQ owns this store. Maybe I got it all wrong, but the shrimp plate was as good, if not better than a Holt Lake shrimp plate. I also purchased an Apple Jack at the counter, because you can't find those anywhere in Raleigh. This is a truly hidden gem (at least it was hidden from me!) Yum!“

“Came to Fry Daddys after going to the Old State Food Hall and being disappointed with the selections. I have to say that Fry Daddys is a gem and definitely worth the visit. There's not a lot of seating and it is within the closed off gas station area, but don't let that stop you. The food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth the stop.“

“What a gem for the Selma/Pine level area. We eat here often and have never been dissapointed. They can get very busy, so pick your time wisely.Parking: Paved parking. It can get busy at times.Kid-friendliness: Plenty for the kido's to choose from.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to entry on level ground/paved parking lot.“

We were given great tables, our server Cathy was amazing and the surprised the Birthday and Home coming people (3) with delicious cake and ice cream and song! We stayed way past when we probably should have , but everyone was sweet and accommodating! “I normally don't review,but this happens every time I go here.I ask for extra seasoning on the fries and when I get them there is none on them at all.Then I have to pull back around and go inside to get the few little pinches of seasoning they give you.Seasoning shortage?“

“If there is one place you have to eat if you get the chance... it's Bojangles! I've never had a bad experience in one. Gravy biscuits are the best in the world. I will eat here every single morning if I can.... and I did while I was visiting family in North Carolina. Please go to a Bojangles if you have the opportunity!“
