Big Ed's Garner Restaurant Reviews
The food was good, but I honestly, the service was even better. Our waitress, Brittany, was patient (as it was our first time visiting), kind and welcoming. Not just her, but also other staff that we came in contact with. We will be back.
We have been coming to Big Ed’s for a long time, but this morning the hostess was rude when we asked for a certain waitress. Lynette and JP are awesome, but the hostess’s and the manager are not.
P.S. - please don’t let Warren leave again. He makes the best eggs.
Horrible....Omelet was raw on the inside & crunchy on the outside. The french toast was mushy. Cantaloupe was good. service was good. Will not be back. Tried twice, shame on me.

Big Ed's Garner Restaurant offers a warm, southern atmosphere with a history-filled decor. The service is excellent, with attentive waitresses. The food is delicious, with a focus on American breakfast classics, including huge pancakes, tasty burgers, and perfectly cinnamony spiced apples. Warren makes the best eggs, and the deep-fried bacon is nice and crispy. A great value for a satisfying meal at an affordable price.
Despite occasional waits, the staff is relaxed but professional and helpful, bringing biscuits to snack on while apologizing for delays. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with lots of families and young children. There’s plenty of parking, and even when the line is out the door, seating is fairly quick. While some biscuits are just okay, most dishes, like omelettes, eggs with ham, and turkey sausage, are excellent. The beef bologna biscuit and fried Cajun chicken biscuit are flawless and unbelievable. A pleasurable experience all around.
