“This was the best slice of NYC pizza I’ve had since Joe’s pizza in NYC. Hands down its authentic style foldable slices. It’s all about the crust and the sauce. They do it just right! $11.90 for a slice the size of your face, a salad and drink. Can’t beat the price or the quality. What a gem in a small town.“
“This restaurant next to my work place one of my favorite restaurants in Goldsboro. The food here is fresh really yummy, I love the steak and cheese subs taste delicious bake was absolutely incredible. Food was well done and cooked to perfection, no issues there, I had the best experience ever with a server at this Doughboy’s Pizzeria the service was fast and the owner he was super friendly, he truly looked after me and make sure I had everything I needed. I would returning here again and again. Highly recommended coming here if you get the chance.“
“I literally stumbled into this restaurant on the verge of an asthma attack today and I don't know what I looked like, but the owner came running out from behind the counter asking if I was okay. Once I gasped out the problem, she got me seated in the air conditioning, and handed me a soda which she wouldn't let me pay for. She is my ride-or-die bestie now and I love her. Going back tomorrow to actually try the pizza!“
“I hadn't been to a Chuck E. Cheese since I was a kid living in Florida, but I have a little one now and thought that she might enjoy it. I'll start by saying that the pizza was surprisingly good. I remember loving it as a kid, but all pizza is amazing as a kid and my tastes have changed. I really prefer a good New York style pizza now, but if I was ranking the national chaina vs CC, I think they would place in the top one or two. I was pleasantly surprised.Next I'll say that the days of tokens and tickets, though I certainly have a lot of nostalgia for them, are gone and for the better. Now you can still buy credits if you want, but there's a better alternative now in the form of unlimited play time. We bought an hour of play and my daughter played her little heart out throwing footballs into the goal. As for tickets, they all go straight to your card now so you don't have to keep track of them. Good so far.Last I'll mention the overall facility atmosphere, and here is where I took points off. We have been twice now, and there are quite a few machines that are broken and have stayed broken. On their website they mention that they try to keep, I think, a 90 percent up time for all machines, and I would venture to say that they aren't keeping that promise at this location. There were still plenty of games to play, but it was still a bit disappointing. Also there tended to be a lot of empty tables that hadn't been wiped clean so it made it a bit difficult to find a place to sit down. And the other thing was that the workers were courteous and helpful, but they just didn't seem happy to be there which I see as a mark against the company not the workers. I remember my days working lame jobs for low wages and I feel for them. Let's get these folks a pay bump and some managers that can foster a work place where people want to work. Anyway, that's my soap box moment.Go visit this place for a fun time. I recommend it.“

I grew up in the area and the pizza is exactly the same as when I got it from the mall at Luca Pizza. Mimmo has branched out from those days and has created a very good Italian family restaurant! “Up North Pizza is one of my favorite pizza places in Goldsboro, NC! I typically order take-out from here, but the food is always amazing. My typical order consist of the fried ravioli, penne a la vodka, and the margherita pizza. They do offer local live music on certain nights along with indoor and outdoor seating. I highly recommend Up North Pizza when in Downtown Goldsboro!“
“We ordered the naked boneless wings, sweet chili boneless wings and cheesy alfredo pasta. The wings were great though we only received one dipping sauce for two orders of wings. Probably just an oversight, no big deal. The pasta tasted amazing but was a little salty for my taste. Overall, really good.“
