Haw River Farmhouse Ales Brewery • $
1713 Saxapahaw-Bethlehem Church Rd, Graham

“Very interesting beers. Each is available as a full or half pour so it is easy to choose several for tasting. My favorite "For Restful Death" lived up to the funky in the description. While others thought is was fruity, I tasted honey but fresh not overly sweet. The Sun Hands Golden Strong had an distinct dank flavor. With my eyes closed the Javalantern tasted like a cold brew coffee with backnotes of fall spices. Not sure what the name was but the cherry brandy and syrah barrel-aged stout was rich, medicinal and bitter. The hard selter was very subtly pineapple and habanero. Would definitely go again and try more beers. Beautiful area with stores and restaurants and walking trails. Nice outdoor seating area with a small indoor bar.“

“What a great gem of brewery. Stopped in on our way back to PA from Concord. We each had a flight and the beers were awesome. Bought several to bring back home. Great bourbon to boot. Veteran owned. Steve the bar manager was knowledgeable and super friendly. Highly recommend stopping in.“

Little Brother Brewing: Barrel and Bottle Brewery • $$
106 W Elm St, Graham

“Enjoyed tipping a couple back here on a sleepy Sunday, some really good craft beers on tap and a ton of selections in cans. Good wine list as well, though I didn’t try those. Ambiance of the place was nice as well, and family friendly too. Some board games and TVs, and outdoor seating as well. Lucas was friendly and super accommodating at the bar, and made me feel welcome. Will definitely be back to this gem!“

Toasty Kettlyst Beer Company Brewery • $$

“Small town brewery but the selection can't be beat. I like darker beers but they brew it all. Porters, stouts, IPAs, kolsch, pilsner, red, ales and so on. They also stock wines for those who don't do beer. Owners are friendly and seem very appreciative that you are there. All the beers I have had are very good. Can't judge the IPAs though, sorry. Definitely worth are trip to give them a try.“

“We love Bright Penny! We moved to Mebane right after they opened 5 years ago and it has been a staple for us. The food is always great, the beer is always tasty, and the atmosphere is top notch. For beer we love Fog Watch and Middle Finger to Monday. For food we love the Bruschetta, Buffalo chicken dip, and the family friendly pizza.“

“Really smart spinoff concept-wise. Different menu from the (excellent) original, and located in one of the few places in Alamance County that gets legitimate foot traffic. The young lady up front is always friendly and attentive. We look for excuses to go outlet shopping just to eat here.“
