“This is a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. The service was amazing…very friendly and Welcoming atmosphere. The food was amazing, hot, and fresh. Now the wait for the food was a little long but when you taste the food you will know why. I did not get the cooks name, but he made this food with so much love and care. The customer service from the person who greeted us to our waitress that served us was great…..This is a place to stop if you ever traveling in the Carolina’s. “We love Uncle Ike's. It's part of our yearly OBX tradition. Nothing gets out vacation off on the right foot better than food and drinks at Uncle Ike's. The drink menu is varied and always has interesting options. The menu isn't huge, but everything on the menu is done to perfection every time. It is bigger than it looks but due to popularity there is usually a small wait during the lunch rush which is when we usually go. It's well worth it.“

“We ate here on Friday Oct. 20. Bartender was super friendly. Highly recommend the clam chowder, best we've ever had. I had the Grouper special and it great. My wife had the Tuna, was super pleased, cooked perfect and not many places get it right. They did. Chef was great to talk to. She explained a lot as we sat at the bar waiting for our food. Backyard bar was our kind of place. The band had to cancel because of rain but It would have been a great place to see one. Will go back next time we are in Duck. Thanks for a great experience.“
