Simple Southern Style food. I love the fact that it's not overly seasoned like most of the places around, because if the food is made well and with love, you don't need to overcompensate with seasonings. If you want to add some, you can do so without doing too much. The food was simple, clean, and fulfilling!
I stopped in around 3pm on a Thursday. Yelp had it listed as being closed, but the owner said she had just recently updated her hours and has not alerted YELP yet. She thanked me for pulling on the door to see if they were actually closed.Small place. When you walk in, you can see all the way to the kitchen area, stoves, and prepping area. The owner could be seen cooking. I placed my order with an older woman who was very nice. Ordered the one meat plate and it came with two sides....read full review

Today was me and my husbands first time trying this restaurant. We love a good soul food spot, without cooking it at home lol! Ms.AnnaRae definitely does her thing in the kitchen!! We ordered the stuffed chicken, sides, and red velvet cake. I must say everything was delicious, with nice sized portions. We will be back to support you again!
