“Stamey’s has been at the same location since 1953 and they have great NC Barbecue, cooked over hickory wood coals. I have been eating at Stamey’s for over 50 years. It still tastes the same for as long as I can remember. So if you are in the Greensboro area, stop by Stamey’s B-Q, it’s great.“

“Fantastic Loco Moco, just be sure to get the rice under the meat and gravy, not on the side. It's about the presentation and also the gravy soaks into the rice better but they put my rice on the side for some reason? Other than that, I highly recommend this place.“

“I often go get fish plate for $6.50 on Tuesday and Friday between 12-2pm. It's the best deal for fish plate in Greensboro and I love the baked beans, fries, slaw and/or cabbage.
You get two sides with three pieces of fish and I normally pick between these sides.
You simply can't beat this deal and the fish plates are delicious!!!
Gotta love them at Bog Hogs !!!
I highly recommend this spot on corner of Bessemer and English street.. not far from NC A&T State University.
If your near this area for lunch between 12-2pm on Tuesday or Friday...stop in and find out for yourself.

“I’m eating my second batch of your pulled pork. I smoke my own mostly but due to some unfortunate circumstances I haven’t for over a year. You guys know how pulled pork is supposed to be. Taste, flavor, texture perfect. If you guys master a vinegar based bbq sauce, I’m all in. Stopped by my local Food Lion and got a backup on the way home from church. Great job, best bbq at a reasonable price.👍🏻👍🏻“

“I place this restaurant on my top places to eat in North Carolina. I was a little discouraged by the cleanliness and appearance when I first walked in the floors were gross. It just did not seem clean. The Thai tea and food however was excellent. It was probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve ate at in a while. Seemed very authentic and they had lots of dishes to choose from. It got very packed around lunch time, lots of families came into enjoy their food so you know this is the place to be.“

“We eat there at least twice a month. Service is hit or miss. ALWAYS call ahead and get on the wait list (online). I've seen people actually leave angry because it appears that others just arrived and they're seated while parties who've waited for 30 minutes aren't seated. It seems the remedy would be to at least tell them about the wait-list so they can add themselves or let Longhorn manually add them to the wait list. The service is usually pretty good although they can be forgetful if they're busy. I suggest getting your order down pat first and try not to add on new things. And if your waiter/waitress isn't writing it down, be prepared to be disappointed. The food is the reason we keep coming back. I can't remember a time that the food itself wasn't above average. We've had wings missing from an order but the wings we got were perfect. One of the few places where a well done steak isn't tough. They can even put a little char on the salmon without bringing you a pink hockey puck.
Parking: During their busy hours, good luck in finding someone backing out of their space. Sometimes we park in the shopping center next door.“

“I was met with a warm smile and friendly attitude. They were very patient and made recommendations for me and my family. I ordered the world famous Crack and Cheese Turkey leg. It was hot, tender and well seasoned. The amazing mix of the turkey, mac and cheese, sauce and turkey crackling was amazing. I high recommend if you are in the area you stop by. I will definitely stop by the next time I'm in the area.“

“I’ve always loved cookout, but recently it’s let me down. Shrinking portion sizes and inflated prices seems to be the way of the world right now, but cookout use to be the hold out. I received maybe 10 fries as my side and three tiny nuggets. The burgers are just as good as ever.
As far as this actual location, the lady who helped me was one of the kindest individuals working fast food. Although the store was clean, the floors were super slick especially on a rainy day and my whole party noticed. It wasn’t rain water either it was like the floors were greased.“

“Our family got a carry out order for lunch today and it was so delicious! The chopped steak that I got was so tender, it almost fell apart before cutting it. Your rolls are delicious and so soft. All of our food was outstanding. The portions were generous too. We will be coming back soon and will definitely recommend you to our friends. Thank you for making our Sunday lunch an enjoyable one!“

“8/31/24 we joined waitlist and were seated immediately upon arrival, and our order was taken promptly. A little slow in receiving food, but totally understandable..place was packed !!! (2 big buses in parking lot. lol) Our meals were excellent and reasonably priced. Our server, Tyler, was very attentive and prompt in fulfilling our requests. “Went to Neighbors for the first time last night. Have lived in Greensboro for three years now and always wanted to check it out. IDK what took us so long. Great food, vibe, drinks. Everything was soooo good. Glutinous but oh SO worth it. If I am having a cheat day, I am going to Neighbors. Nom nom nom. I’m still thinking about my meal last night, how good it was.“
