Based on the reviews, Bitters Social House is much more than a bar, it’s an experience. This 2 story venue is intentionally designed for conversation, with indoor and outdoor seating and lots of cozy little corners. The space is truly special, warm, and inviting. They have a well stocked bar with over 60 different bitters and a great selection of specialty drinks as well as some seasonal items. The handcrafted drinks are completely customizable, with real skill and care behind them. Highly recommended is the Paw Paw’s Pepsi. The staff is incredible, and the owner built something meaningful out of her experience. You can feel that resilience in the space. Bitters Social House is also a retail spot for home bartenders, with locally sourced mixers, syrups, and unique ingredients. It is dog-friendly and part of a social district. However, some guests noted that walking through a plume of cigarette smoking while entering the building made them and their clothes smell, and the smoke seeped into the building. One guest mentioned a bartender who smoked in the doorway, causing the entire place to smell like cigarette smoke, which ruined the experience some.
