We were sceptical when we walked in because of outdated reviews and the dining room was empty but we walked around to the bar side and there were customers and the bartender Sidney, who was also waitressing. We talked to her and she told us to sit wherever we wanted. We chose to go into the empty dining room. She brought our menus and drinks within minutes. Talk about someone that knows how to cook!! Eric, the chef at Gate City Grill, is awesome and clearly aims to please. My husband and I are pescatarians and he made us the BEST veggie quesadillas we’ve ever had in our lives. I mean the flavor was sooo good! Been here twice now and both times the food was pretty good but service was just mediocre. They were not busy on either visit, in fact the dining room section was completely empty. I ate here because of convenience to the hotel and you can get a decent meal at a decent price.
