The cookies & cream ice cream here is top notch! Hotdogs & chips are good too. Prices are very reasonable. The place is more than 100 years old do has well decorated memorabilia from past decades.
I stopped by Yum Yum today for the first time after hearing several of my coworkers mention it. The food was very good, and the service was pleasant and attentive. I tried the black cherry and really enjoyed it. I’d definitely return just for that. Everything was really good but half the lobby was closed for some reason.
Amazing, still. As I was completing my degree at UNC-G, many years ago, I made a habit of stopping in at least 2x monthly gas a treat. Great to know, as I took my husband there recently that the quality of service & food is even better than I remembered. Dogs & ice cream…excellent. Service, exceptional! All areas including restroom-5 stars all-around!
