I don't know what's going on at this location, but I've been there 3 times in the last month and there is always issues. First you can't ever get them to answer the phone anymore. Secondly I know they get busy but the last time I went I waited 23 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese. The time before that I had to ask for less burnt bagel and then today I went and the bathroom was filthy and there was an employee up at the front coughing standing to the side...

First time here, and it was an overall good experience. We stopped in for lunch and got a Philly Cheese steak and an Italian sub with a begal. Everything was pretty good. I did like the Philly more. The Italian doesn't come with mayonnaise so you have to ask. I would definitely recommend checking out this joint. Potatoe salad was better than the pasta side as well.

I always love coming to Joey's Bagels every single time I'm in this part of town. I'm from NY and these bagels are the real deal! I have been so excited since I found out that a location is coming to AVL, because now I can come weekly instead of bi-yearly. If you want a good bagel, make the stop. It's worth it.
