4 Best Pubs near Hickory

“Had to find a brewery for our day trip out to Hickory and happy we chose Olde Hickory. I loved the aesthetic of the carved out bar in the brewery. Parking was right around the corner - you could definitely miss it if you weren’t looking for it. Not a ton of parking, but it’s a pretty small bar area. I love that they had several TVs up and were playing college football and basketball. That’s a way to my heart. Everyone was very friendly. I had a flight and my wife had the Christmas Ale. I think of the four beers of my flight, I really liked one, liked two others, and didn’t love the last but beer is subjective to the taste buds of the drinker.

I’m glad we went and next time we are in town we will try to stop in again to try some more beers.“

“Had Reuben. Served without thousand island dressing. It was dry even though it had sourkraut . The server said this is a signature dish. Really... where is the meat? Can you spare some. They raised prices but you get less meat no dressing. NO QUALITY. WONT BE BACK“
