Highlands Supper Club Reviews
Food was PERFECT and so was our server!! Alex was so kind and honestly one of the best servers I've ever had!! Truly amazing service and she always had a smile on her face! Definitely will be coming back if we're in the area!!
Amazing all around. Teddy was fabulous. Old fashions were perfect. Oysters and deviled egg apps are made of dreams. Fried chicken is HUGE! Worth the wait
We were excited to try Highlands Supper Club and it turned out to be mostly good but not great. The good was the overall cozy atmosphere in a log cabin setting, and the menu is varied and has plenty to choose from. My wife’s redfish was very good. The three ribeyes were all above average but nowhere near the best steaks we’ve had. My pork chop was decent size and quality but overcooked (so therefore dry). Highlands Supper Club is a charming and cozy restaurant set in a beautiful old log cabin, offering a warm and intimate atmosphere with wood-burning fireplaces and forest views. The restaurant is known for its excellent food and attentive service. Guests enjoy a variety of delicious options, including raw oysters, grilled oysters, deviled eggs, squash blossoms, pork bellies with cheese grits, mountain trout, elk, salmon, and ribeye. The deviled eggs and grilled oysters receive high praise, though some note the oysters can be quite salty. The salmon is cooked perfectly, served with a medley of grains, while the elk tenderloin is described as unbelievably tender and flavorful. Desserts like peach cobbler a la mode are a highlight, adding a sweet ending to the meal.
Service is generally good, with servers like Kyle being especially attentive, knowledgeable, and making the experience seamless. However, some guests have experienced minor issues, such as being seated near the kitchen door with fast-moving staff that can create a somewhat anxious atmosphere, or waiting longer than expected for dinner plates to be cleared. Despite these small setbacks, the overall experience remains positive, especially given the quality of the food and the ambiance.
The restaurant is considered a top spot on the Plateau, ideal for special occasions and memorable dinners. It is recommended to make reservations in advance, especially for upscale dining. The combination of beautiful setting, flavorful dishes, and friendly service makes Highlands Supper Club a place worth returning to for a special and delicious meal.
