The Waffle House at 110 Daniel Boone St in Hillsborough, NC, is basically what you’d expect from a Waffle House—cheap, quick, and low-key awesome if you’re in the right mindset. First off, the staff is super friendly. Like, they genuinely seem happy you’re there, which is not always a vibe you get from restaurants at this price point. Great Staff!!! Walked and was greeted with warm smile and a heartfelt Welcome from EVERYONE! This location was cozy and intimate allowing for frequent but not overwhelming follow ups by staff which is greatly appreciated when with an 11 month old by yourself. There was another family of 5 with a little one that appreciated the attention the intimacy provided. Food was solid as one would expect from this franchise, personally my bacon was crispier than I like and served this way...
