The tacos were pretty good. Reasonably priced. Don’t expect any level of service though. You order on your phone and then pay your bill on your phone. They have food runners and that’s about it. Don’t think I’ll eat there again.

I have been here a few dozen times since they opened and each and every visit is great. The food is always on point and the drinks are fantastic. Everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and it just can't be beat. My personal favorites are the Pork Belly Taco, Crispy Shrimp Taco and the spicy margarita.

My Longtime Favorite Finally in Charlotte!
I've been in love with Bartaco ever since I was introduced to it years ago in Connecticut, so imagine my excitement when I found out one was opening in Charlotte! Ever since they opened, I’ve been making up for lost time, visiting any chance I get.
My absolute favorite item on the menu is the duck quesadilla with birria—seriously, you need to try it. Their guacamole is always fresh, and the fish tacos are light and refreshing, perfect for a balanced meal. Every dish bursts with flavor, and the overall dining experience never disappoints.
After indulging in all the goodness Bartaco has to offer, you can stroll around Birkdale Village to walk off your meal—it's the perfect way to end the visit. Trust me, you’ll be thanking me later. I can’t recommend this place enough!

She was an absolute sweetheart great service and every time she came by the table, she had a wonderful smile. Great customer service, great food, and great atmosphere. First time visiting but won't be the last.
We visited for the first time on 9/27. We were seated promptly and once our server found out it was our first time visiting, she introduced us to Zach the manager. He told us about the menu items and gave some recommendations. The house margarita was fantastic! We loved the Asian steak tacos and pork belly tacos. There was a great atmosphere in Birkdale Friday night and we definitely can’t wait till next time!

I went to Bartaco on a Wednesday night and the service was great for what it is. With the menu and ordering being self sufficient I thought that our server did great for what her job description is. However the food was very pricy being almost $4 for a mini taco that lacked filling and $13 for rice the size of a hockey puck. I ordered a mocktail and it was good but $12 for some juice I would hope so. I left feeling bloated and nauseous and my boyfriend left still feeling hungry. The service was great for what it is but the food is not worth the price. I don’t think I’ll be back.

I seek out good food and when I say this is my new favorite place to eat, that is saying something. The flavors that hit my taste buds on the first bite were immense. The food was so delicious and the spicy margarita with tajin on the rim was delicious.
We had frequented Bar Taco in Boulder, CO and were so very excited when the Birkdale location opened. Love the atmosphere and the drinks, especially the variety of margaritas, were fresh and amazing. The menu offers a variety of healthy options. My only complaint, but it’s a big one, all the food we’ve tried has been way way too salty. We’ve tried homemade “chips” and salsa, the poke bowls, the tacos….all too salty. I’ve told the wait staff, not to complain, but because we love everything else about the place and really hope they stay open! So far they have not taken the suggestion. Last time my tacos were so salty I could not eat them. We’ve given it five tries! We are still hopeful. Posting this review in the hopes it will encourage the change. ?
