Mediocre food, wasn't even busy at that point. No one asked who's birthday it was or said happy birthday after I told the server. Asked for a booth and got a half booth table even though we walked by 4 empty booths. Not a pleasant experience.
Red Rocks always delivers. Me and my Bro always get one of the Cajun meals (steak or pasta). I am not a huge chocolate fan, but their chocolate cake is amazing. The service is always on point. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I tend to eat there once a month.
Greeted with smiles by the hostess. Fantastic service from waitress and the food was fabulous!
Eight people in our party last night. Our server Caleb was top notch. Drinks were served and we were not rushed to order. We had a wide variety of entrees and everyone loved there meal. We were celebrating a special occasion and this was the perfect place to do it. I highly recommend.
Our waiter was very nice he told us about the specials and recommended a birthday martini. The food and drink were very good. We sat on the patio and the ambiance was perfect.
Considering other choices in the Birkdale area, I would not return to Red Rocks. Overall, no one in our party of three was satisfied with our meal. The one item we did like was the calamari appetizer, which was tender, although the sauce was runny. Potato pancakes were cold and tasteless. We tried the Caesar, side and wedge salads. They were mostly adequate, but nothing distinguishing. The wedge salad had the smallest dollop of blue cheese dressing I have ever witnessed. The most remarkable aspect about the main dishes and vegetables was the complete lack of seasoning. For example, broccoli and cauliflower appeared to have no salt, spice, olive oil or butter. They tasted steamed, with the broccoli undercooked. Steaks were undercooked and one small filet had a large vein of grizzle, making it inedible. Mashed potatoes, which are hard to ruin, were brick hard, cold and inedible. The chicken was dry and not recommended. I would strongly suggest Burtons, Fin and Fino or Firebirds when in the Birkdale area.
Fantastic birthday lunch with my family. We were celebrating our familys' many October birthdays. Our server, Ray, made our celebration lunch fantastic! Great food and even better service!
Another great dinner outing at Red Rocks Birkdale. Always consistent and great food. Give it a try you, won't be disappointed. Great job to our server Ethan given how busy the restaurant was.
Hailey was awesome with a big group too. She was efficient with humor and personality. Food was on point too. We were all satisfied.
We always enjoy dinner on the patio. The food is great and the wait staff is attentive and courteous.

Our server Ray was top notch - was very accommodating to us and our needs. The patio is such a nice place to dine. We truly enjoyed our experience!
We were seated in the bar area and it was very loud. Make sure you request an outside table or a quieter part of the restaurant.
I was celebrating my 67th birthday and had a very enjoyable dinner and the pumpkin cheesecake was a hit. Great food and atmosphere! Will definitely be back👍
We normally visit the Charlotte location but went to Birkdale so we could meet friends for dinner. What a lively and vibrant area and the restaurant was directly across from the center square area that had live music and entertainment all evening. We sat on the outdoor patio to enjoy the music as well as the ambiance of such a fun place to be. The food was just as good as always and the jambalaya is my favorite dish, just enough spice to enjoy the flavors without overpowering the shrimp. We ordered the ribs, which were falling off the bone and a great sauce as well. The only disappointment was the filet and coconut shrimp. The filet was cooked properly but wasn't very flavorful according to our friend and I didn't see any seasoning on it. I was looking for a nice sear as well but it didn't seem to have it. It might be the way she ordered it prompted the look and taste. The shrimp were good but a little too much sweetness from the coconut. Well prepared but more coconut flavor than shrimp. Service was excellent, even for a very busy Friday night and we will certainly go back as it was a great evening and location. Make sure you have a reservation or it could be a very long wait for a table.
Very good service!! Food just okay and pricey. Need a more extensive wine menu when a “steakhouse”
