Visited Moore's on 02.26.2025 with family (New Bern, MLK location). Chose the Olde Tyme Chicken Sandwich combo. First bite was alright. Next bite had a large bone, which totally threw me off. Opened the sandwich and started to pick through the remainder of the half cut chicken breast and discovered more smaller bones. I was done! When you pay nearly $10 for a sandwich, you definitely don't expect it to have bones!! Absolutely disgusting!
Had been in Greenville and heard that Moore's was good. The bbq was ok, but nothing to write home about. The potato salad was good. Being that it was in eastern NC I would have thought someone would know how to cook collards. I can eat most collards but those went in the dumpster. When I told the little server they were nasty he just laughed. Will never grace your doors again. If someone wants to go there, it is fine. I will just stay in the car til they finish eating.
I ordered an online pickup and the order was grossly inaccurate. Very disappointed
