“This place is a little off the beaten path, but it is amazing. We happenednto wander in just before closing time (we didn't realize how close we cut it), but the staff immediately made us feel welcome. I know we got on their nerves but they never showed it.
The food... wow. Their mac and cheese is some of the best around. The pulled pork is tender and flavorful, and not at all dry. The portion sizes are also huge. It's absolutely worth every penny, and so much better than fast food or some random chain.
We would have taken pictures, but we got too excited and devoured everything.
100/10 -- ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND.“

“really interesting menu in terms of cocktails and food! has amazing prices for food in particular (and much better to support a small business for good late night eats).
i had the spicy pimento cheese sandwich with prosciutto and the pimento was spicer than i expected (jalapeños i think!), but i could see a lot or people enjoying that. next time i definitely need to try one of their greensboro-loved-and-known hotdogs.
for drinks, i didn’t order off the menu but ordered a bay breeze and it was different than i usually have it (pineapple and cranberry juice is standard) but i believe it had a sour liqueur and orange juice- still delicious and a nice twist on one.
atmosphere is great, karaoke nights are super fun, and this place is definitely a hidden gem worth trying at least once. :)“

“Saw this one on internet ( what did we ever do without it), a bit of a drive but had to come and try. OMG, this was delicious. Sooo clean, friendly, helpful staff. Told us about senior plate ( smaller portions--I wonder how much is regular size is) I still had enough to take home!!!! Everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend this one. Keep up the great food standard and very reasonably priced.“

“I had a great experience. The food was delicious, with authentic flavors and fresh meats you can really taste in every bite. The service was very good, the staff was attentive, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed. They explained the menu patiently and checked on us throughout our visit. I definitely recommend this place and would happily come back again. Great food and excellent service! 🔥👏“

“I want to give a huge shoutout to City BBQ and especially Michael for their outstanding guest service! Michael went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. It’s always a pleasure to be treated like a valued guest. I also want to thank City BBQ for their incredible support of our military. Offering free meals to Veterans on Veterans Day is such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture. It’s wonderful to see a company that not only serves great food but also shows true appreciation for those who’ve served our country. Thank you, City BBQ and Michael, for being an amazing team and an example of what great service and community support look like!
