But last night, I was really craving a fish fry, so I looked local seafood restaurants up online. I'll be honest: even knowing where it was located, it was a little challenging to find. The sign isn't prominent, but our effort in finding this place was rewarded.

My sister and I got the Alaskan whitefish with shrimp; my husband got the trout, and we shared some fried okra for the table. Everything was crisp, hot, lightly breaded, flavorful, and tender. Bonus: the food was reasonably priced.

The place isn't fancy, but it was very clean, and the service was better than I've had at much fancier places. The owner checked on us regularly, and we had a great experience. This place feels family-owned, and the food was great. Now that we've found it, we'll definitely be back.“

Everytime I come in, the sweet lady at the front greets me with a smile on her face and is very helpful if you have questions. “Came for authentic Mexican brunch. We ordered menudo, tamales, chilaquiles, and champurrado. The food was good and felt authentic. The menudo wasn’t served very hot, but the flavor was still solid. The green chicken tamales were moist and tasty.

Parking is definitely limited during peak hours, and the atmosphere can feel a bit confusing. They list daily specials on a board, but if you’re seated toward the back it’s easy to miss them. It would be helpful if they offered paper menus for dine-in customers who aren’t ordering at the counter.

Overall, good food with a nice mix of Mexican and American breakfast options. A solid hole-in-the-wall spot.“

Spencer is already one of the hardest working Managers in Greensboro, and he was out there with the rest of the staff making sure everything was moving along. We had the Parmesan Artichoke cheese dip, the honey-chili aioli fried chicken sandwich, hot dog (for the kiddo), and for dessert we had the Kahlua Espresso Cheesecake (coffee w/ Bailey's for Mom and Dad). “First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don’t even like mole sauce, but I couldn’t stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninja finals come to town.“
