Coffee Shops near Jonesville

“We stopped here this past Saturday morning (16 Nov) to grab coffee and snacks as a starting point to do some area driving as we consider a move from where we currently live (near Raleigh).

The shop is very clean (including the restrooms!), the menus clearly laid out, and the staff as friendly as you could hope for. We took a chance on some coffee drinks we don't normally go for, afraid that they might be too sweet, but they were perfect! We also tried a few pastries which we found out are locally produced and they were amazing, too.

I could write ten times as much about how much we enjoyed our visit with the owners and their staff, but all I really need to say is that if you're ever in that area and have an urge to get some great coffee (roasted in Wilkesboro) brought to you by some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet, in a comfortable, well-designed space, you'd be hard-pressed to find somewhere better than River Roast Coffee! We will definitely be back!“

“I wish this place was in a more populated area, where it could get the attention it deserves. Seriously, while the ice cream lacked a bit of flavor, the cookie dough pieces in it were good, and the house-made waffle cone (there's 4 flavors, I picked pumpkin) was GREAT. And the employee or owner working at the time is fantastic, friendly, and quick. Their baked goods also look seriously amazing, will have to come back.“

“We were there at 5:55am as we are doing a trek north from Florida. Place was open, clean, friendly service and food as expected. We chose to eat inside. This is clearly a newly renovated place, it's beautiful with a play place for the kids. Thanks for being open so early!“

“We were so happy to discover this sweet little drive thru coffee shop during our weekend stay in Elkin. They have an amazing menu with so many creative options. My iced specialty coffee drink was delicious and they even made fresh iced tea for my husband. But the best part was the staff. The young woman that took our order was so full of happy energy and smiles it was contagious and stayed with us all day! If you haven’t been yet you owe it to yourself to go - not just for the yummy drinks but the amazing service and smile you’ll leave with. We just wish we’d gotten her name so we could mention her here! ?☕️“

“Had an amazing early lunch here yesterday. Got there just in time to snag some late brunch menus. My husband had the Monte Cristo- that's HIS sandwich- said it was one of the best he's ever had. My chicken and waffles was wonderful! Charming atmosphere, great waitress! Highly recommend!“

“My Mama passed away from Covid three years ago in November. She always baked me a pineapple cake for my birthday, and also just because I was craving it many times. I haven't been able to find anything close to the way hers tasted. Today is my birthday and my husband ordered me a pineapple cake from Bon Bon's. He said he ordered it late, but after hearing why he wanted it so badly they made sure I had a pineapple cake for my birthday today. I cried because it tasted just like my Mama's, and it absolutely made my day. Everyone was bragging on how wonderful it tasted, but no one could have enjoyed it anymore than I did because I felt like Mama was hugging me from Heaven. Thank you so much. I highly recommend Bon Bon's. They are wonderful!“
