I Visited River Roast Coffee When My Husband and I Took A Trip To North Carolina A Few Weeks Ago .... We are From Ohio But My Husband Knows My Love For COFFEE so we Stopped Here And We both had an Amazing Holiday Flavor Coffee and I Picked Up A Hoodie To Take Home , The Blonde Lady There Was So Welcoming and Kind To Us !!! Highly Recommend!!!! ❤️💖❤️💖

They have smoothies, lemonades, and lotus drinks like the fabulous Hawaiian Lotus drink. The Raspberry mocha is also highly recommended. The atmosphere is great, and the staff is friendly, providing excellent customer service. They encourage customers to try their drinks and will make adjustments if needed. The shop is very clean, including the restrooms, and the menus are clearly laid out. The coffee is roasted in Wilkesboro, and the pastries are locally produced and amazing. The location is a bit odd, but it's worth a visit for the impeccable service and welcoming vibe. River Roast Coffee has quickly become a favorite spot for those looking for outstanding food, coffee, and a comfortable space. Customers were impressed that they offered to heat all of their treats, and the Apple cider donut was great, definitely tasted the apple spice. The Bacon cheddar scone was a delightful savory treat that was a perfect balance of not too bland, not too salty. The Coconut poptart was so delicious. The complimentary chocolate covered espresso bean added to your drink is a nice touch. The Americano coffee was very hot and tasty. The staff was comprised of a very professional and friendly team. The coffee was great and served with a smile. The atmosphere felt local without trying to be pretentious.
