“My review is for the humanity the owner has shown. I was reading my latest Readers Digest when an acknowledgement was submitted about how the owner Kevin had driven 6 hours one way to deliver what was basically an elders last meal, because it was her last wish…to have a pork tenderloin meal from this establishment. If some day I travel SE from Indiana and anywhere near I will definitely stop to support. Well done my man.“

“Really friendly hostess and great waitress. Stopped in with our 3 month old baby and hostess offered to hold her so I could eat my food and waitress was super attentive and sweet. “Easter breakfast was our first time at Henry's. It was by far one of the best breakfast experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel like family. Christina couldn't have been more accommodating...making sure everything was to our liking, without being overbearing. And it was the little things that mattered. May sound silly to most, but having syrup on the table for your flapjacks...when ordering hot tea, they bring you a cup of hot water, a tea bag, PLUS a silver container of hot water to place your "used" tea bag in, should you desire another cup of tea. Also, creamer was right on the table. The menu even made sense...build your own omelet.....you pay for what you want! It seemed like all the Employees chipped in. I never saw anyone just standing around. We will certainly be back, and refer folks we know to Henry's. Thank you.“

“Had the pizza delivered on Friday night to John Yancy Ocean front Inn. The pizza was there within 35 minutes maybe sooner . The ingredients were fresh the pie was delicious. This is our new favorite pizza restaurant. I even ordered one to take back home.“

“We live here and oddly hadn’t been yet. Our grandson saw hibachi when I was passing by a couple days ago and asked to go. What a absolutely great experience from the front door to the dessert that I didn’t get to try because my grandson & husband devoured before I get my fighting tools in lol“

“This is a first class restaurant in every aspect. When you enter, you are immediately greeted with a warm and friendly smile. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique and very nice. The wait staff is always friendly, and ready to meet your every need. We have tried many items on the menu and have been most satisfied with every entree. The desserts are great also. If you come to the Outer Banks and would like a first class experience, I highly recommend this fine restaurant.“

“Had Lunch with jusband and daughter on 10-15-25 we ordered and ate only to find a roache crawing over my dauthers head on the wall near out booth. Long story short another on was on our table and fell off onto my husband's lap. Disgusting!! Never Again. The place was bit that crowded now i know why. EXTERMINATE PLEASE!!!!!“

“The sportsbar portion of Captain George's restaurant. Full menu available, including the seafood buffet. TV'S all around, even in the booths. Hard not to find the game or event you're looking for. It's loud, but that's because folks are eating, drinking, and having a good time. They do have a bar food menu that's pretty good, and always drink specials. Off season it's usually full of locals there to hang out and catch the game.“

“We were looking for pizza close to where we were staying, and this was it!! It was so good! The crust was crispy on the bottom, super soft on the inside. The sauce and toppings were also a hit. So so so good!“

“Captain George’s is a seafood lover’s dream. The buffet is fresh, well-stocked, and has an incredible variety—from perfectly seasoned shrimp and scallops to piles of hot crab legs that keep coming. The staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates so you can make another round. The atmosphere feels warm and lively, and it’s a great spot whether you’re with family or celebrating something special.
Fair warning: the dessert bar is so good you might need a second stomach—guess that’s why they call it all you can eat!“
