The chicken mai fun was divine! Made with glass noodles that were unbelievably good, plus tender chicken and veggies. Quick service.

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.“

“South Beach Grill is a staple during our annual OBX vacation. We order from there 2-3 times during the week. They are fast, friendly, and ordering is easy online. Dinner for our group of 9 was ready for pick-up in less than 20 minutes. Everyone has tried multiple things from the menu and everyone was extremely pleased with everything they’ve tried. My favorites are the southwest wrap, burgers, and Buffalo chicken Philly. Their fries are delicious… especially with their fry sauce or BBQ ranch. South Beach Grill is a must have on your OBX vacation!“

I have never enjoyed waiting for a table more!…sitting outside under the gazebo on the deck that stretches into the sound, wonderful outside bar (try the Chocolate Martini!), and Yacht Rock over the speakers. We could have stayed out there all night and been content. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t say how great the food was inside, and the service was impeccable. (Richard was our waiter, and he is a GEM! Excellent service like he extended to our group is a lost art.) Can’t wait to see you again next year!“

“Had the pizza delivered on Friday night to John Yancy Ocean front Inn. The pizza was there within 35 minutes maybe sooner . The ingredients were fresh the pie was delicious. This is our new favorite pizza restaurant. I even ordered one to take back home.“

“Awesome food and wonderful service! Family of 4, seated at the table just off the bar. The homemade bread was soft and flavorful. We ordered the pesto baked oysters, ribs, and tobacco flour breaded shrimp for appetizers. I had the jk special (filet and broiled shrimp), wife had the salmon, and both boys had aged rib eye. All of the dishes were amazing. Listened to some Les Zeppelin and Rolling Stones while eating- pleasant atmosphere and our server was incredible!

“Beautiful location especially the pier and sunset views. Bartender was super kind and attentive. The waitress seemed stressed and you can tell they were a bit understaffed. I had the crab cake, very nice and thick, full of lump crab meat and not overly greasy. The louder was a bit overcooked but wonderful flavor. We chose the keylime cheesecake for dessert, needed more key lime flavor but wonderful texture. I would suggest maybe coloring sheets for kids. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and time.“

“This place has been around for a long time and is very popular for lunch. Their burgers are quite good and their prices are very reasonable. The service is quick. There is no indoor seating, but there are plenty of picnic tables around the building. It reminds of many other burger joints we've visited. No frills but good food for low prices!!“

They were fresh, delicious, and definitely the star of the whole meal. Everyone at the table found something they enjoyed and ate every last bite! The staff and service were wonderful, too—super friendly and attentive from start to finish. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey, but honestly, for all the amazing seafood and great experience, it was well worth it. Solid 9/10 for me!“
