“Food was made good, but the star of the show was the woman working behind the counter and directing the kitchen. You can tell the workers were having a good day and also she was pleasant to every single person who walked up. Great experience & loved hearing her interact with everyone!“
“This was the best meal we have eaten in OBX in a long time. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff were great and provided excellent service. The food was amazing and it had some of the best twist on some classic dishes. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.Overall, one of the best dining experiences in all our trips down. The chef even stopped by our table to ask how our meal was and chatted for a bit. Loved every minute of this experience.“

“Been dieing to go here and with a foggy night here on the OBX, not much open on Tuesdays and said, tonight's the night. Had the blackened tuna and the blacken shrimp tacos. This food is off the hook delicious. Fresh caught tuna and more than you can even think of eating. What a great take out meal. They just moved the list of top places here on the island. Great people too!“

“This is a place with the essence of the Outer Banks, from the music and atmosphere, to the flavors. The service is excellent, the burgers are delicious. Ideal to go after work or to have a good time with friends. Too noisy for meetings. I do not recommend bringing children.“
“This was a local favorite diner type restaurant. We had the regular egg, breakfast meat grits or hash browns with biscuit or toast. The portion sizes are generous. The biscuits are large but just ok. They have plenty of options including omelets and lunch specials.Parking: This restaurant is in a shopping center and has plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They cater to families.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access but the entrance is narrow and they encourage customers to wait outside so there is no overcrowding.“

“I just want to say how impressed I am with the customer service I received. I called this location today to ask about their allergen information. As a mom of a child with severe life threatening food allergies, I was so impressed. The man that answered the phone immediately knew all the answers to my questions. He was so clear and knowledgeable. He knew what was safe, what could be made in the same facility as peanuts, knew peanuts versus tree nuts, etc. Of all the places I have called over the years, this was the only place that actually knew immediately and understood why I was asking. As a mom trying to keep my son safe, thank you so much!!! We are excited to visit you guys when we are there in May. :)Dietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable and can answer any questions.“
“We were looking for a place to grab a quite bite for lunch. When we got there we were greeted by a wonderful server who got our drinks very quickly. All the food options looked delicious especially the burgers. The food arrived quickly and my Irish bbq burger was absolutely delicious. Everyone at the table was very impressed with their food. I cater so i consider myself somewhat of a food critic and everything i tasted was phenomenal. The flavors blended together very well. Will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends that visit the outer banks!“
“I have to update this last time I reviewed it was 6yrs ago.This used to be the place to go get a good burger and fries, now after my last visit I have to say was the worst I've ever experienced here. Burger was small and really dry, cheese was cold and not melted, service was ok, it's fine way down hill.Unfortunately, that was probably my last time there.Good luck if you go. Maybe it was just a bad day.Always a good burger and fries. Normally, good service sometimes you get people that just act like they don't want to be there, that's why this visit loses a star. Even if you don't want to be there, the customer does, and we are the reason you have a job, smile , say hello, and be more responsive to the customer.“

“Snow Bird Burgers & Cones is the best place to eat at the OBX!! Awesome food and delicious ice cream!! Staff is friendly and eager to please!! The owner is on site and a wonderful addition to the overall cozy and comfortable feeling you get when you go there!! Absolutely the best fried chicken sandwich anywhere!! We visit this place a few times when we visit the OBX!! Best place ever!!“
“My 7 year old daughter and I stopped in for an early lunch on our way back home and it was one of the best lunches we have had in a while! My daughter said it was the best fried shrimp ever! The banana pudding was out of this world! Friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere! We can’t wait to go back!“
