“Read all the great reviews and they are true. Stopped by last night and had maybe the best tacos I've had since moving to NC in '05....the handmade tortillas were outstanding as well as the barbacoa and pollo, and the carnitas were absolutely perfect, slightly crispy the way I like 'em, not semi-soggy like some places serve it, which is OK but not my preference.They even gave me both salsa roja AND salsa verde (I like to mix 'em) without me even having to ask.Both Maritsa & Jadina? (my apologies if I got it wrong!) were super nice. I just can't believe how lucky I am to find authentic mexican food less than 6 miles from my house....it's like striking gold.Like the patriarch at my favorite family-owned mexican restaurant across the street from my apt. in Chicago told me back in like '92 when he looked at me from over his Chicago Tribune: "You leeve in the nayborhood?" "Right across the street" "You'll be a regoolar coostomer", and went back to his paper.He was right. And I will.“

“I got one of each style of taco, 2 steak 1 chicken tinga. The meat was full of smoky flavor, tender, and they weren’t stingy! The generous toppings pair well with the meat, the tradicional was my favorite style. I love the simple ordering style. The place itself is inviting, clean, with a nice vibe in a historic building. “Cash only. I've eaten here several times but it's all been on a whim because I can't figure out their hours. I think mainly Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. It's honestly the best food so I'll take a chance on it being open. If you go and it's closed, Chilango is just around the corner and is excellent as well.“

After taking a persons order and grabbing his credit card , and swiping it , She didn’t wash her hands no gloves on , She grabes my food and put the avocado on it and grabbed the tortillas bare hand. “This food truck blew me away. The lady running it, who I think was also the owner, was so warm, kind and friendly. The food was OUTSTANDING. Best Bierra tacos I've ever had. The broth was delicious. I could have drank it. She gave a generous amount too. I also had a burrito with Chorizo. She made sure she made it in a way I would like it, offering to add avocados to it which I love. When my girlfriend said I liked my food spicy the worker/owner brightened up and immediately offered to include a red sauce which was legitimately spicy as promised. I loved it. The burrito was delicious. I also had a cantaloupe Agua Fresca that was fresh, refreshing and delicious! It was also in a HUGE cup so I got my money's worth. Highly recommended! I'll be back!
