“For my first visit I ordered the Classic Smoked Pulled Pork plate with house bbq beans, white slaw, and a cornbread biscuit.Review: the service was fast and friendly. High marks here.The pulled pork wasn’t dry and the bbq sauce was tasty.The homemade bbq beans were a standout and exceeded expectations.For the cornbread biscuit I feel it was a different take on cornbread but didn’t really hit like I was hoping.Finally, for the white slaw it was chopped too finely for my preference and the only area I’d say that detracted from the meal.Overall: 7.2/10A must stop if you’re close by.”

“I give it a solid 4. For service especially, they have a kind staff. For food it's good variety. It's just...so many people eating the pizza it's like it's hard to keep the good pizza out and the ones that are out seem like they sit a little longer and are a bit stale. Other than that, it's good. I didn't feel judged having two loud kiddos there. So for atmosphere 5 stars!”

“Authentic Mexican food is always better than a chain restaurant that serves Mexican food. El Acapulco knows how to cook. We have never had a bad meal there. The portions are big, the options are plenty, and everything comes out hot. They are always busy for a reason.The service is good. They check on you, but leave you alone to eat your dinner in peace.The atmosphere is perfect for the style restaurant. I would highly recommend eating there. My favorite go to is the steak burrito dinner. Delicious!”

“Friend jumbo shrimp and fried catfish were on point! Catfish were thin and crispy, just how I like them. And both were seasoned very well! We will be back! Oh, and the portion sizes were great for the price paid! We got 2 small plates and ate on them for another meal.”

called liver mash. I had the egg breakfast and my son/his friend both had the garbage plate. AdditionallyWe split an order of pancakes because they all looked great.The food was very good, a solid 4/5 but not quite a 5/5. The service was a 5/5 and the bathrooms were 5/5On to the liver mash. You must try. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Shelby, eat liver mash. I can’tSay you won’t regret it but I can say you won’t forget it!:)”

“Their food is wonderful. I am amazed especially with the steak. They don't cut corners when it comes to a great meal and getting full. The manager and staff and employees are always friendly and helpful. This is my number one go to spot for some big pieces of steak. That's the main thing I go there for. They have other great food as well... But your steak is great and mouthwatering... They give you a generous amount of food... And not no little piece of steak either... They give a big nice juice piece of whole steak which is great when you love steak and are hungry. I don't just love the steak, I also love the oakra and the sweet tea is very good too.. I highly recommend this place. Its located in Shelby NC. Try it out. You won't regret it. Their food is very good and you'll leave happy and full. ?”

“Tried this establishment out for lunch. They were busy but the staff was patient with me ordering for the first time here. I went up to the window to order. I got their chicken tenders and fries and famous honey mustard. Honey mustard was on point, the chicken was good but maybe the oil made it dark on some parts? Fries were good too.”

I wasn't sure what to expect as someone just passing through boiling springs but If you're in the mood for Mexican food it definitely satisfies. Whatever that yellow salsa is is spicy but so delicious. I had the chicken burrito California, the chicken was seasoned well and the beans were delicious. The pico de gallo was tasty and the guac wasn't too salty. They have really big beers and mixed drinks. The prices were honestly a sight for sore eyes. They weren't charging an arm and a leg for a burrito and a beer. Will definitely mark this place in the maps and be stopping by anytime I'm in the area!”

“My wife and I usually eat at the Snack Shop at least once a week, the food is always great. We ate there last night and our waitress told us that Louie had added some things to the daily menu, Crab stuffed Flounder, Crab stuffed Shrimp and a steak, I ordered the stuffed Flounder, and was I ever pleased, it was undescribably good, can't wait to try the stuffed shrimp. “The only place that serves oatmeal & it is delicious!! Been going here since I was a little kid. Only thing I noticed is that I have never seen a " brown" server. I even applied once and was told I would have to work in the back. Rumor has it that they are racists but I still dine there until otherwise.”
