Fantastic selection of food that was delicious and creative, yet down to earth. Staff were attentive and in tune with our special requests. “I love that this is my neighborhood cafe. They have the BEST fried chicken biscuit I’ve ever had. I love their garlic Parmesan fries with the Alabama white sauce. And not to mention they may have one of the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever tasted. I usually take out but I’ve also eaten in and love the atmosphere and the staff is amazing! I will continue to recommend you to everyone and keep coming for my biscuits!“

“First visit. Would order here again. Food was good. The pearl tofu with dipping sauce app was so tasty. Spring rolls good as well. Pad see ew dish with tofu was good but not as flavorful as I've had elsewhere. Ordered online and received a text when food was ready. Paid online as well which was convenient. Not crazy about the default 18% tip. Would have preferred a custom option.“

“I've been searching for a mediterranean place aside from the other two in town because I wanted something more. One fills the fast food niche, another is for quick gyros, and Black Sea Grill is for everything else.My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here and tried as much food as we could eat to really judge it. I was amazed I hadn't found it already. We will definitely be back and I'll be bringing more people! This visit led my wife and I to go to the Halal Market on Carolina Beach Road the very next day to try to recreate some things we ate here.“

“We came down from Virginia Beach for a birthday trip and everything was wonderful. I was worried with a place as uniquely designed as this that the atmosphere would be great snd the food would be mediocre. We were completely wrong. Atmosphere and food were both amazing.“

“Small little shop downtown but cakes are nice and moist and flavorful. Flavor options change throughout the year and have seasonal flavors and some that are year round. Only struggle is usually limited help in shop and if around holidays then order ahead to ensure you get in time. Great product reasonably priced.“

“Ah, the Veranda has been a local secret spot for years. Their staff is unmatched to any other place I have found. The view from the back patio on to the large driving range is spectacular. If you have never been, go see what it's all about. You will love it!“

“I enjoyed a tasty vanilla cupcake with a slight orange flavor. Frankly, I was a little nervous about the orange flavor but it was not overpowering. This place is a delightful little boutique cupcakery that operates on the honor system. Consider, giving this place a try.“

“What a great location! We sat inside because it was a bit chilly but still had views of the river. I love that it was right on the boardwalk. The staff was attentive and energetic. Food was delicious! For apps we had Brussels sprouts, Bree, crab cakes, and fried oysters. I'm not the biggest fan of Brussel sprouts but they were so crispy and savory. The rest of the apps were also perfection! I have the beets and goat cheese salad with fried oysters. I can't remember what sauce was on the salad but wow! They did a great job. I ended the experience with a crème brûlée. It was savory and soft. I recommend checking them out. No one at the table had complaints.“
