My go to vineyard in NC. Everything about this place is a must see. The owner is incredibly friendly, the staff is great, the wine is delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. I buy a lot of NC wine, but Weathervane is always in my wine racks. What really impresses me is that both their dry and sweet wines are on point. And there seasonal wines like the Green Apple Dew, are flawless.
Love love love this winery. I'm a die hard fan of sweet wines and they have some of the best in my opinion. The green apple dew is my absolute favorite. The staff here are the best. Always so kind, considerate, and so incredibly welcoming. Highly highly recommend a visit and tasting!

Hubby and I did a tasting, he found 3 of 5 sweets to his liking. I enjoyed 2 of 5 dry. Lovely woman served us, knowledgeable. Bought a couple of bottles to enjoy on the relaxing patio, ate our picnic dinner while the sun went down. Music Bingo started. Unfortunately, the guy ran out of bingo cards. Next time :-) We'll be back.
