“Be aware that name has changed. This restaurant is mown known as Bizzarro. Okay, now what matters is the food and my wife and I thought it was fantastic. We split a pizza. My side had several meats and it was delicious. There is a small dining room that’s cozy but comfortable. The servers were friendly and helpful. Bottom line: this was one of the best meals we’ve had In Maggie Valley.“
“Even on a night that was packed and only two servers had the whole back of the restaurant, service was great. Despite having multiple parties ranging from 5 to 9 the servers had smiles on their face and got our food and drinks to us. Super friendly service and the food was so good! They even give a celebration cannoli which is so tasty! Definitely come check out this hot spot in Maggie! You won’t be disappointed.“
“We came into town pretty late after traveling all day and the other places in town were either closed or full and unaccommodating, but this place was so welcoming and the food was amazing! I got the seafood Alfredo and it was delicious. They were also super sweet to my kids, who also loved their kids meals.Kid-friendliness: Our two 6 year old kiddos loved the food and atmosphere. Decent kids meal choices.“
“My partner picked me up from work yesterday. We both were tired and had our 5 month old in tow. Everything in Asheville was annoyingly crowded and I just wanted to get home. Driving home, I remembered a few of my friends have recommended this restaurant so my partner called and they had a spot for us within minutes. It was such a warm experience. The inside is cozy, our server was so kind, she even made up a refreshing wine spritzer for me. Everyone was talking and interacting with one another, like family. Everyone was so sweet with my little one. The food was delicious. We started with garlic rolls and ordered lobster ravioli, spinach ravioli and brought home tiramisu. Everything was great! Someone even kindly paid for our meal! It was all very special .“
“Beef short rib pasta with mushrooms in a blue cheese sauce was sublime. The short ribs were incredibly tender and the serving size large. An elegant take on an often overlooked protein. The servers were very attentive and the restaurant was warm and inviting.“
“My friend and I had such a wonderful dining experience here with a beautiful atmosphere, great attention to sound reduction ( they have ceiling acoustic panels which I wish far more restaurants would use to allow you to hear your party better), amazing food, and a very wise and kind owner. For a while we didn't realize we were talking the owner because she has a humble spirit. The upstairs looks perfect for events as well.Dietary restrictions: I was thrilled that I could have their amazing dishes with gluten free pasta!?“
“Angelo’s is one of our family’s favorite local restaurants, we usually go once a week. We were recently served by Christian and he was amazing! Very attentive and very upbeat!! We always order the Ricardo pizza and a pepperoni with feta cheese added pizza with garlic knots as a starter. Delicious!!“
“It started out kind of weird. We were the first in for dinner. They open at 4, we arrived at 4:10. There was a dog running around the restaurant and looked like they were having a service meeting behind the bar and one of them was smoking. Dogs and smoking do not belong in a restaurant. Our food was great we had the penne pasta and a NY. Strip. The steak was bigger than I thought it would be. We split a lemon cello cake. It was fantastic.“
“Update - I called and complained and the manager made it right - a new pizza that was cooked properly. Just be aware.Normally I like this place - especially their garlic bread - but my last order left something to be desired. I ordered a to-go pizza since I hadn't had one in awhile. I specified on the phone that I wanted a medium size. When I went to pick it up, I thought the bill was a little more than it should be, but I know everything is up in price. When I got the pizza home, I could see why it was more - they gave me a large rather than a medium. And it's a good thing I don't mind a burnt crust as much as some people - I should have taken the pizza back but it was a lot of trouble. Waste of $20.“
“Small and quaint. Very good! The Eggplant is peeled! Makes for a much better parm. The stromboli, forget about it! Sooo good! We really enjoyed the food and our waitress was attentive. My husband liked it so much that he stuck his head in the kitchen to compliment the chef, trust me when I tell you, that NEVER happens! You should stop debating it and just go.“
