“First time at Salt Face Mule tonight. This place is awesome, highly recommend anyone in the Asheville area to come check this place out. Such a fun atmosphere, great food, and a great time all around. Our bartender Kyle was an awesome guy who gave us great recommendations for things to see and do while we’re visiting here. We’re visiting family in the area and I’ll definitely be back to this place the next time we’re back in town. Awesome job tonight guys and we appreciate it! - Chase and Rose“

“After we lost our go-go spot in Marshall, we wound up driving north in search for a new breakfast spot.
I’m SO glad that we found this excellent spot. Delicious!! The food is closer to “what I’d make at home” meaning I CAN actually eat the breakfast and not feel like I’m bloated or had overly processed food.
Furthermore. LOCAL options?!? I can pay an up charge and have local eggs? DONE!! Yes, please. I love the choice of being able to support the future of where the food comes from. I don’t want to support mass-farming simply by eating at a Waffle House, ya know. ;)
Highly recommend to check this spot out. The owner is also a great guy to have a chat with. Very happy to support this location and their family that has helped so many others. Keep on keeping on.“

“Great food, service, & beer selection! The fried pepperoni & cheese curds were delicious. My wife liked the firecracker shrimp Alfredo, but said it had some spice. The Greek platter was amazing as well. I got the combination to try both the lamb & chicken. The chicken tasted like souvlaki & was good, but I favored the lamb. I typically would order an old fashioned, but they did not have large blocks of ice. Given what Helene’s impact on western NC, I was happy to see this restaurant thriving & folks in good spirit. This place is a gem for the community, and I highly recommend.“

“My wife is the one from NC and her Mother had a cute shop in the shopping center behind waffle house, it was called Fabulous Finds. Well one day my wife asked me if I'd like to try some real good food over at The Wagon Wheel. We went 8 yesterday ago and still go to this day.“

“We’ve passed by so many times and always see a bunch of cars. We finally stopped in last night and we are so glad we did. Drinks were great, our server was fantastic. I think her name was Gretta. She gave us food suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. Hubby had the Sea Bass special and I had the pork belly and scallops. Both delicious. The baklava pie was out of this world. I think we will be stopping by again while we are visiting. Highly recommended. Lots of people waiting for a table and take out. We loved the vibe and decor.“

“This is one of our favorite restaurants and we will return! The garlic rolls are superb. On our last visit we ordered the Buffalo Mozzarella salad as appetizer which was fresh and refreshing. For main entrees we had the Parmesan Crusted Trout and the special Pork Cheeks Pasta. The trout dish was delicious and the ingredients complemented each other; highly recommend this dish! The pork cheeks pasta was ok, but not spectacular..it lacked flavor and was a bit watered down. Atmosphere is always great at this restaurant!“

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. Breakfast was an enjoyable experience. we will make this a regular stop on travels. The Priddy of Danville KY Five ⭐ ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐“
