The welcome and service was friendly and professional. The food had a great variety for all dietary needs (vegan was a little light, vegetarian was great).

There were four of us, and each if raved about our own dishes. It was well presented and were richly flavored.

“We stopped here for breakfast at apx 11 am this morning, 07/07/23. We sat at the counter due to all seats being taken, busy place. Service was great, food was excellent, staff were all friendly and helpful and the camaraderie among them was easy and comfortable . The two 'grillmasters 'Bob' and ? sorry I forgot to ask her name ..were amazing to watch. 8 plates up and no tickets, mind boggling. “We dined at Huli Sue's last weekend, and everything was FANTASTIC! We had the sampler platter and added the mac and cheese. The food was absolutely amazing! The barbeque was so good, and the mac and cheese was super flavorful and cheesy. I had a Mai Tai, and it was honestly the best one I've ever had. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The other servers were as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I cannot wait to return!!!“

“Best burger I've ever had, and I don't mean best GF burger, I mean best burger, period. Roast vegetables were great too.

Daphne, our server was attentive and service was fast. Mind you, this was post-Helene, and they were slammed, so I would have forgiven slow service but that wasn't the case at all.

We would definitely be back!

“Great pork tenderloin and steak and nice presentation!! Pretty ambiance inside the restaurant and especially because the strip mall location is deceiving. The non-alcoholic chardonnay ordered by my friend did not taste like a chardonnay but more like a sparkling drink and the waiter kindly took it back and removed it from the bill. The 4 of us shared a delicious peach tart for dessert!“

“The menu is not overly long (check online) but very good pizza, summer salad and "corn ribs". Beer and wine selections limited but very well chosen. Hard for elderly to converse when the restaurant is full but OK compared to many. Comfortable seating, not too close to others. Service was very good to excellent. No mistakes. We had to wait a bit for our beer and wine to appear but everything else was timely. Recommended.“

“One of the best nice meals I’ve had out in a while. We started with an appetizer of hush puppies with goat cheese and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the gnocchi and my wife had the pork chop. Both were so flavorful and great portion sizes. For dessert we had panna cotta and it was a perfect way to finish the meal. Service and atmosphere were nearly perfect. I couldn’t recommend this place more.“

“We were a party of 8...in the summer...around lunchtime...so it was crowded but we were seated quickly..had biscuits right away and our food came out quickly...portions were huge..(.I think the meatloaf slice was a pound of beef by itself.)..Staff were courteous and helpful with our wheelchair and walkers.food was reasonably priced... our only "negative" comment would be that some desserts ran out :( but everything else was great!“

“My wife is the one from NC and her Mother had a cute shop in the shopping center behind waffle house, it was called Fabulous Finds. Well one day my wife asked me if I'd like to try some real good food over at The Wagon Wheel. We went 8 yesterday ago and still go to this day.“

“This was an exceptional meal that was one of the best in the city. The burata was very rich and paired so well with the peppers and olive oil. The red beans and mushroom dish was layered with so many ingredients, and every one had a unique flavor and texture. The squash was sweet and salty, and the fig was a remarkable bite, but the mushrooms were the star. There were easily 5 different varieties in the dish punctuated with parsley and taragon. Finally, the peach panacota was drizzled with sweet and strong bourbon sauce. The service was personal and attentive. A real outstanding meal.“

“Had an amazing meal and experience at Carmels. We had our two chihuahuas celebrating our wedding anniversary. We live a rather hectic life and this year after a tough year of tremendous loss of family members all we could get together was a day trip which is not the usual for our birthday to anniversary celebrations. We were tired and hungry and after being disappointed by a couple other spots that claimed to be “dog friendly “ now I believe all happened for a reason. My husband and I were met by awesome staff outside that loved on our fur babies and sat us at one of their outdoor patio tables then served us some of the most delicious food and stopped by randomly to love on our girls some more. Definitely highly recommend this place if you plan visiting Asheville. We will definitely be back.“

“We came here as for our date night dining adventure, which we do so rarely, and it was nothing short of a wonderful experience! We had the nachos, artichoke quarters, and Buffalo shrimp as our appetizers, then the fish & chips, and beet salad as our entrees, with ginger beer and a liquor flight as our drinks. The food was all so flavorful and beautiful, the attention to detail in the plating was fantastic, and everything arrived quickly. The apps were amazing, the batter on the shrimp was fantastic, the artichokes were scrumptious, and the nachos were loaded and wonderful, larger than expected! The sauces served with the apps paired perfectly with them,and I'm already craving the artichokes again, just writing this! The salad was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, as the spring mix was tossed in a vinaigrette first, then topped with the beets, goat cheese and candied pecans, which gave it a perfect amount of sweetness. The fish & chips were amazing, the cod fillets were perfectly battered and fried, no fishy taste at all. The tallow fries were delicious, and reminded us of how yummy fries used to taste, when tallow was the norm. My husband declared these to be the best fish & chips in Asheville, and he's a tough critic! We ended up getting a bottle of the Rye Whiskey to take home, as that one really stood out on the liquor flight. Since we bought a bottle, the price for the liquor flight was comped, which we thought was a very nice touch. The service was impeccable- our server, Lauren, was calm, friendly, informative, and was there exactly at the right time, for every interaction. We went at 6:30 on a Saturday night, and our table was ready with waters waiting for us as soon as we walked in- I felt like royalty! The atmosphere was perfect, classy but casual, the kind of place that you could spend a lot of time in, and at no point did we feel rushed. The prices were very reasonable for this level of dining, and we will definitely be back- I think we found a new date night place- and a good reason to do that more often!

“We love our outings to Creekside - Georgia loves the chicken and fries and I had buffalo wings this time which I really enjoyed. I usually get the salad with smoked chicken and its my all time favorite. The staff are great and the atmosphere is cozy. So if you are looking for a great place to eat, with a good atmosphere and great eats - Creekside is my favorite place in East Asheville.“

“Very nice restaurant. Greeted by the hostess a few seconds after we got there. Seated immediately, and waitress came with water and menus. Very quick service , we pretty much placed our order right after we received our drinks , and had food at the table within 10 minutes. We got the bbq bacon burger with fries . It was amazing , so yummy and food was hot and fresh. Very good experience. The view was so nice and it was so peaceful.“

“Had (another) great time (about our 15th time at the Estate). We stayed two nights and had a suite in the beautiful Inn at Biltmore Estate. The first night we just hung around the Inn and had a great dinner at the Biltmore Estate Dining Room. Elijah was our waiter and he was awesome, very helpful and attentive. My wife needs Gluten Free and they had all kinds of options and were very helpful. Breakfast the next morning (and Wednesday) was the same way, many options for her. Andrea was our server at breakfast both days and was fabulous. I did the buffet and the omelet that was made for me was awesome!
