“I've been here multiple times. I highly recommend their specialty rolls that have tempura and/or spicy tuna. The Lychee Sake and Mango Moscato is to die for. For a light beer, try the Sapporo. I came here before my pregnancy, during my pregnancy, and after - I had gestational diabetes and my blood sugar levels stayed pretty stable when I came here (though, mind the tempura and mochi LOL)

Some of the best Salmon and Tuna sashimi in Jacksonville, too. Anyone can eat here. I cannot speak highly enough about Wasabi.

Kid-friendliness: There's always kids here. I bring my newborn. Good atmosphere for kids.

“I've been going to Shogun since they opened when I worked at a salon just a few doors down from it and we ate there constantly. The food has never failed to be wonderful and the service has always been beyond what you would expect. Thank you to everyone at Shogun for all of your hard work and dedication to your craft.

“While it is a small shop, they have a decent assortment of Japanese snacks, kimchi, daikon, to a small freezer section seafood, takoyaki and Naruto fish cake. And if you’re lucky, you’ll catch some freshly made futomaki sushi rolls! ? Best of all they have the best coffee Suntory Boss and sometimes Bikkle drinks!“

“I love Japanese food, especially hibachi, and Hakata Japanese Steakhouse is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. I've traveled the world and every country I visit, I eat Japanese sushi and hibachi. I can honestly say no one can beat Hakata in taste, sauces, service, fun, entertainment, or friendly atmosphere. My family and I say every other Japanese steakhouse is NAGAH compared to Hakata. NAGAH means Not As Good As Hakata! I always by pints of Hakata salad dressing and mustard sauce to take home. No one has ever mastered Hakata's secret sauces recipes. I give Hakata an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.“
