2nd time here because the first time was excellent. This time, however, was lacking. I ordered the calzone. The cheese was at one end, the frozen spinach, canned mushrooms and raw onions were at the other end. Not edible.
Just ordered pizza for the first time from Hawthornes. I’m from NY and haven’t been able to find good pizza around here. This pizza was absolutely delicious! I’m so happy I found this place!

Based on the reviews, Hawthorne's NY Pizza and Bar offers fantastic service and delicious food. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, with Emily and Ben providing superior customer service. The menu includes the Crew personal pizza and the sausage and pepperoni stromboli, which are absolutely delicious. The best garlic knots ever and a signature salad with a surprisingly delicious bleu cheese balsamic dressing are also highlights. They always have delicious sweet tea, and bar service is available with drinks like red sangria and an old fashioned. A key lime pie dessert from a promotion is also memorable. It is one of the highest priced pizza options in the area, and the food seems better eaten there. This is the best Italian restaurant because of the delicious food, coupled with outstanding customer service.
