“I lived in Taiwan for over ten years. The Bubble Milk Black Tea and Spicy Beef Noodle are absolutely legit. The portion is enormous: one order could fill up two people. It's like a quart of broth.Al dente noodles.Everything kept separated until you mix it when you're eating it.Truly spicy: their jalapeño are even fresh - that tells you everything. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, run by a family, and very friendly.Zero bad things to say.See photos for proof.Vegetarian options: You won't find fresher vegetables. The menu is small so they keep it very fresh.“
“What an excellent decision! We enjoyed a delightful date night at this place with a group of 14. Our server handled our large party with ease and made no errors. The staff coordinated seamlessly, ensuring prompt service with piping hot and fresh dishes. The Thai tea was exceptionally deliciou!!!“
“Li’s is an awesome restaurant close to Matthews. A couple years ago, they were only taking to-go orders, but they are back open and the dining space is very cordial. The cashier lady/waitress is extremely friendly and the food comes out super quick! I highly recommend this spot!“
“I judge most Thai restaurants at first by their classic pad Thai. And this spot has some excellent pad Thai. So many other Thai restaurants lack flavor but Chokh Di is one of the best I have had. Great apps, great curry, great pad Thai. You can't go wrong here.“
“The service was provided as good as the food. The food we ordered was authentic and flavorful. If you don’t know Malaysian cuisine, that would be ok and the staff will help you to find the right dish for you. Our server was also very caring and worried that three of us may ordered too much to finish the food because the portion size here is huge and generous. So we were recommended to order the lunch size so that we can order more dishes to share. Even though it is lunch size, still the portion of each dish is like a full-size to us. Strongly recommend: roti canai(Indian pancake) with the curry sauce which is so flavorful and mild spicy, Malay roll is another must-try, don’t miss the chef specialities: Hainan chicken(boiling chicken in the water like soups vide cooking techniques to make it so tender and juicy), beef randang(I would say it is a dryer stewed beef curry of which the flavor is the combination of sweetness and spiciness with the aroma of herbs and spices, balacan sauce with okra mixed with string beans is another must-have for you to absorb healthy fibers. We will definitely visit again to try something new. It is so rare to find an international cuisine in Charlotte that tastes as good as it origins. I would say Malaya kitchen is the one.“
“This was our first time eating here. The service was amazing and the waitress kept checking on us and was super friendly. The food was all made fresh as it was piping hot and really good. I am not sure why we waited so long to eat here, but we’ll be back.“
