“Went with my daughter. I had an Old Fashioned and an arepa. Both were awesome!! Comfy ambiance with a great patio. My daughter had blonde ale and a canal and she raved and raved about the canal. I had a bite and it was fantastic. This is not your typical 'bar food'. Authentic!!!“

“I had a great experience at One Tapas. My husband and I ordered 5 small plates and all were super tasty! The dessert was so yummy too! The ambiance was charming, the service impeccable, and the food was simply divine. Each dish was expertly prepared, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. A definite must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable culinary experience!“

“We've come in here quite a few times for board games, live music, and for the food trucks and every time has been a great experience. They have coffee on tap (for us non beer drinkers that's amazzzinnggg) from Sugar Creek Brewing and it's really great. It's important to support those small local businesses!“

“Queen City Craft and Gourmet has been a staple lunch location for our family since they opened. The menu rotates through the seasons, the beer choices are amazing and also rotate, and the staff is always polite and helpful.Today I ordered my usual, greek salad, this time with grilled chicken. When it is in season, the trout is an amazingly prepared protein to top a delicious salad here. However, the chicken does the job when there is no trout on the menu - it's grilled just fine. The greens here are always fresh, the olives are full of flavor and perfectly salty, and the tomatoes are sliced big and juicy. The highlight of the salad are the huge triangles of feta, which make for a delicious treat of flavor mixed into the salad. I don't care for peppers, but my wife loves them so she always happily picks them out of my salad for me.I also ordered a side dish of Salt & Pepper Brussels. Oh my goodness they always come out roasted to perfection. Just enough oil, just enough seasoning, and cooked to bring out just amazing flavors. This little side dish is my favorite thing on the menu. The staff, including the owner, was wonderful as always. Friendly as can be, greeting customers as they enter and making sure to thank us as we were leaving. This is a place that genuinely appreciates all customers and definitely makes that obvious. You will feel extremely welcome coming to Queen City Craft and Gourmet for a meal or a drink. The friendliness of the atmosphere cannot be beat here, but I did take a star away from this category just because the design of the interior space is just okay.Overall, we highly recommend Queen City Craft and Gourmet to anyone looking for an incredible meal with amazing drink choices and the friendliest of staff. You will come away appreciating your food while feeling appreciated for being a patron.Parking: It's a very big shopping center with plenty of parking. No issues.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, but really the adult menu has many appetizers and side dishes to make any kid happy. Today our kid ordered 2 sides of shrimp as their meal and they were quite satisfied.“

“I am ashamed to say I’m a Matthews native and still live here and I literally had NO clue this was a restaurant lol. But in any case now that I know, best believe me I will be back. The outside is the small town charm of Matthews, but the inside is modern big city vibes. It is absolutely beautiful in there. Service was great and food and drinks amazing. I went on a Tuesday with a huge group of Facebook Group friends and we had a ball. We got the whole dining area reserved for us and in spite of a large crowd, the two waitresses were awesome. On Tuesdays cocktails are half off so I got the margarita and it was delish. For food I got the truffle fries and short rib sliders. Both were phenomenal! I couldn’t even eat it all lol because even though small plates, I felt they both were filling. This place is great for a date night, hanging with the girls or even going solo to hang out at the bar. I can’t wait to get back! Only thing that could make this place better is some live acoustic music sometimes, it would set the ambience off even more. Spoke with the owner and he said they do cocktail classes as well, they don’t have them listed on the website but working on it, but said can email them for the info. I certainly will! lol“
