In the businesses defense they do have signs saying prices have increased through the store. When I see this i expect a few dollar increase. However I did not realize the menu price did not reflect the actual price at all. My sister ordered carne tampiquena and the menu says 14.99. I went to pay and find that in fact is is 25.99 and when I spoke and explained to the manager we would not have ordered the item at that price. The manager explained the rising cost of products and not having received the new menus as the reason. But also stated they put the new menus on hold and that there was nothing she could do. I can understand the price being a few dollars higher but an $11 price difference I feel is incredibly dishonest. A business should not deceive their customers to get ahead. A recommendation would be for the waitress to let the customer know and they can decide if they still wish to order. So just be prepared you could end up spending way more than expected.
