Absolutely lovely place and experience. I’ve never even been a tea drinker other than sweet tea but I’ve found some nice flavors I now use at home. Wonderful food and such a relaxing atmosphere. Love it!
We have been there twice for brunch. The experience was wonderful. The staff are so kind and helpful. Planning to visit frequently.
I called and asked Ms Laura for a low sugar idea for a us and friends dinner meal. She suggested she could make a creamy cheese cake. That cheese cake was one of the best we have ever had. We enjoyed it until the last crumb. Thank you Ms Laura! ❤️

Johnson House Bakery & Tea Room is a lovely tea room with warm, friendly service, yummy food, and a historic feel. Guests enjoy high tea, which includes delicious food like warm scones, fresh fruit, cucumber and cream cheese and chicken salad sandwiches, and a most delectable carrot cake for dessert. The specialty teas are amazing, and the dishes are so pretty, matching the beautiful home and general decor. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, with one hostess offering endless fun facts and local history. The team is very hospitable, even accommodating special needs for infants and toddlers, and calling ahead to offer celery-free chicken salad for sensitive guests. The service is well paced, and the gift shop features locally sewn aprons and other items. Guests find it a gem well worth the drive to Farmington, and many look forward to returning with their book club or family.
