I tried this place after hearing good things about it. The food was good but lacked seasoning. The garlic broccoli chicken I ordered did not taste like garlic. Also, the chicken was processed, not a chicken breast, as I had hoped for. Although my party was initially was only the second table in the restaurant at 5 pm, we felt a bit rushed to leave the table. This is my go-to for Italian. Mocksville has zero restaurants with an upscale feel, and with some minor additional touches, I could see this place becoming a real date-night type of place. The food is superb, but current ambiance is more casual.

As a Brooklyn New York Italian I can tell you Luigi is a gentleman and has delicious food. Authentic, simple, affordable. He is a kind person who makes you feel like you are eating at nonnas house on a Sunday. Mille Grazie.
