5 Best Cocktail Bars near Monroe

“I went last night for cocktails with my daughter in law before attending a local production downtown. . The Bourbon selection is off the charts. Then there’s yet more choice for use in cocktails.
Love the vibe and decor.
My only recommendation would be to replace the amount of large rectangle tables suitable for big groups, and have more comfy seating conducive to smaller groups.
(One table was full with a wedding party admittedly, but aside from that it was mostly groups of two or three.)
Just not sure it needs as many of those.
We sat at the bar which was fine, but we would have chosen a couch if available.
There was live entertainment which again was so good. Perfect match for the atmosphere. ( I can’t abide rock music in a cocktail bar).
If there were more couches and cozy armchairs to soften up the room it would be a full 5 stars for me.

“My husband and I have had our favorite sushi spots in Charlotte that are tried and true that we typically stick with. However, we recently tried Shoku and it has now been added to our list of favorites! The sushi is fresh tasting and full of flavor. The hibachi style meals are absolutely incredible - and the sweet carrot that comes on the side is amazing! If you love a good crab rangoon with lots of filling you will absolutely find that these will satisfy your craving. The customer service is wonderful and the prices are great. Online ordering is super simple to use as well. So far we’ve dined in once and gotten to-go once as well as we will definitely return!“
