A review for those that don't know about the Monroe Mexican community. If ever if this are, make time to stop by Taqueria Romero's.Amongst the better taquerias I've been to. The food is very good, the service is very good and the ambience is a clean with plenty of seating.My drink was very refreshing and not overly sweet. This is a hidden gem. We have eaten there many times over the years, although I have never done a review. They have many authentic dishes. Their Chile Rellonos are authentic and they use Mexican cheese and not mozzarella like a lot of restaurants. It gives it a much better flavor. There empanadas are good, although not spicy. They are called quesadilla frito there. Their hot sauce is spicy and has good flavor.
