Tex-Mex Restaurants near Monroe

“Food and drinks were so amazing , our waiter was extra nice obviously for a tip perfect nothing wrong with that, problems came when it came to paying time our total was $43 and my husband paid with a $100 and we only got back $37 (short $20) and the waiter tried to run to the bathroom after taking off his apron quick (@6 must have been his clock out time) but my husband caught up to him and asked him about the missing $20 the waiter proceeded to pull the $20 OUT OF HIS POCKET and said he “accidentally took an extra $20” plus we never got a receipt so just be sure to check your change ?? again Food and Drinks were great ??“

“Absolute terrible customer service at the food truck. No signs with form of payment however went to pay for food and demanded either cash or a “tap to pay card”. Had a debit & credit card but claimed the machine was tap only. When asked if there was a sign stating either cash or tap card only, was told no he doesn’t have to have a sign posted…. No good for business in the least bit. Never would have ordered if you had a sign posted!!!!“

“What a great experience. I used to take my family to this Moe's location every week about 10 years ago, but we eventually lost interest because the service fell off after a while. Well, we went back yesterday after a long hiatus, and what a great job everyone has done in returning it to its former glory! Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be in a great mood, and we quickly realized that while ordering our food, it was because everyone working there was genuinely happy. The portions were right on, not skimpy at all. In fact, not one single member of my family could finish their food because we were all stuffed. The restaurant was clean. There were plenty of clean tables to sit at. Everything was stocked (napkins, forks, straws, drink lids), including all flavors in the Coke Infinity machine (the one where you pick your flavors and all that). The salsa bar was clean and stocked. Everything looked exactly how it should. The food was better than I remember! I'm not kidding when I say the stack was amazing, and it spent a perfect amount of time on the grill to make the exposed cheese just a little crispy but not burnt at all. I'm thinking about a return trip as I describe it because everything really was amazing. While we ate, I noticed an employee just kind of cruise by checking the dining room. She didn't do the thing that you see sometimes where the manager is like, "Hi, how's everything going?" Which I'm fine with, but I did get the sense that she was just kind of perusing to make sure everyone was happy and they were. I really can't say enough about what a great atmosphere it was, and I wish I'd gotten a name to give credit to because they deserve it. The 3 girls that were working Friday night all deserve recognition for bringing back at least 4 old faithful customers. I highly recommend this Moe's. If you've never been there, you'll love it! If you're like me and you used to go there until you didn't love it so much anymore, you'll be happy to know they're back better than ever! I even saw a guy from Five Guys go there for dinner! If you can walk away from Five Guys to eat somewhere else; that says a lot about the place you're going to.

Parking: Parking is so abundant at this location that you not only won't struggle to find a spot, you'll usually get a spot that's close and has no cars next to you!

Kid-friendliness: My kids are eating grown-up meals now, but the kids' meals was always the main reason we ever started going to Moe's. I'm not sure if they still do it, but they used to have a deal where kids would eat free when you paid for an accompanying adult meal. I also have to mention the drink machine. What kid doesn't love the opportunity to try 8 flavors of Fanta while they eat at Moe's?“

“this place consistently improves itself as time goes on. it has become our go to resteraunt. I don't know how they make it work with the small kitchen, but they do. the food is authentic. you can tell the owner puts love into their labor. the waitstaff is excellent. the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. the area really needed this place. sure, there are other Mexican resteraunts in the area that are pretty good as well. but this one just feels special. keep up the good work guys.“
