“This place is outstanding! Our yearly visit always allows at least one night for my husband and I to have drinks together. KID FREE! As we were passing by we decided to stop for a couple of drinks. Some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had!! The entire experience was top of the line. The atmosphere is so smooth and inviting. We hope to see you again next year!“

“Food was amazing. The service was outstanding. The only complaint that I had and they couldn't help. It was those people from Raleigh that wanted to continue to b**** about everything, and thanks to my second martini, I didn't give them a little bit of local redneck, and tell them to go back to Raleigh Like I wanted to, but Yep, Yep, it was an amazing meal. “We ate at Southern Salt last night with a group of over 30 people. My wife made reservations a few weeks ago . GREAT FOOD ! GREAT SERVICE ! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for making this meal one to remember.“

“We drove 2.5 hours to eat. The best seafood around. The hostess, waiter and manager made the meal even better as we arrived 10 minutes before they closed, they still welcomed us in as if they were not getting ready to close. You won't find a better place to eat.“

“I would never visit Beaufort and not stop by this place. Don’t let the size or location fool you this is a #1 stop for the best musicians around. Always a good time and the local folks make it fun with their welcoming and friendly smiles and handshakes. I played an Open Mic there last year and hope to play there one day. “The Wheelhouse is a GREAT spot to hang out. Whether you're visiting for a weekend or a local, you always feel welcome at The Wheelhouse. Many nights there is live music or fun and games like music bingo. Often food trucks set up to offer local favorites. And of course you can enjoy your favorite beverages. The Wheelhouse is also a great place to watch the game with several big screen TVs. And if your pet is friendly, The Wheelhouse is pet friendly. Hope to see ya'll there soon!“

“Pretty decent "dive" bar on the beach. The space is great... but way too new looking to be a real dive bar. But the beers were cold and the other customers were quite friendly. Bar staff was a bit indifferent and not friendly when we ordered. Not unfriendly... just not friendly.
Fair number of TVs for watching sports and they've got a Wii if you are so inclined.
I would definitely stop in again for beers.“

“This is our second experience and it's lived up to everything we had hoped for. The food was delicious. Our server was charming and helpful and checked in on us through throughout the meal. We love the atmosphere of the views of carrot Island and the rachel Carson preserve are stunning especially at sunset.“

“If you want the best pizza in Beaufort look no further. We stopped by and had a choice of seating in either the hip store to the left or more traditional place to the right. Same great food. We chose the left and had spectacular service from Sean. A great local resource he went out of his way with service you only find in expensive venues. The pizza is true brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. They have a sofa sitting area near the fireplace that caps your evening. We had bourbons. Perfect evening.“

“I’m not good with remembering names, so apologies in advance. I stopped here after doing a full day offshore fishing that I woke up at 4:30AM. After being seasick and having no appetite until I got off the ship, I went to the Promise Land Market. The tall gentleman did a great job helping me with my order and providing me with my sweet tea as I waited for my order. He said I was welcome to drink it as I waited and he would refill it, which was GREATLY appreciated.
He had a coworker that was working there watching the front while he went to the back. She told me she was from NY. After some chit chat with her, as soon as I finished my drink, she immediately refilled it, no questions asked. And eventually on the third refill, she got me a larger container so that I could quench my thirst better. Overall great service from the staff from my experience. And they were very authentic with their interaction with me so I feel that they are genuinely nice people.
You can find good food everywhere these days, not so much with service and genuinely nice people. This interaction was the cherry on top of my overall experience in Morehead City.
