Chinese Restaurants near Mount Airy

“Okay so let's be fair. Overall four stars.
The only reason I'm removing a star is because of how dark and seemingly dingy the whole restaurant feels.
For the restaurant atmosphere they only get three stars. It's not very welcoming.
However, the food is exceptionally good and I like that they do these special sushi rolls without vegetables in them. That's pretty rare and I love it.
The service is top notch. My waitress seated me, got me a drink, and kept it topped off while also being attentive to all of her other tables.
I would like to see a white rice option added to the buffet as not everyone likes green peas and carrots in their rice.“

“I ordered takeout and once I was home, I got a phone call from China 1, I wondered why they'd be calling me. They proceeded to tell me that I'd left my credit card there. Not only were they polite, but kind. I live in Dobson and it was past their closing time when I arrived to get my credit card. They could have used my credit card fraudulently, or even just not called me, but they did the right thing, and that is admirable these days.
With that being said, their takeout is the best Chinese in surry county when it comes to flavor, and their prices aren't bad. I do miss their buffet though.“

“They are wonderful. I have always loved there food I would have so.eone bring me food because I was scared to try and take my service dog there. But finally did and they didn't mind and the whole thing was great I give them 100% .and will suggest them to everyone.“

“A diamond in the rough! We were traveling through the area and happened upon Taste of China. The food was delicious, and can confidently say they had the best egg roll I’ve ever had. Prices were very reasonable, portions were a good size, and food was served fast and hot. If I’m driving through the area again, I would go out of my way to come back here.“

“I will forever love this little local Chinese gem, and I will die on this hill defending it. When my family has a night in and we just want to watch a movie and chill this place is our GO-TO for takeout. Food is awesome, servings are great for the price, we just call in our order walk in and pay, easy peasy. The only complaint I will ever have about this place is that it is so good I won’t want to go to any other Chinese restaurant if it isn’t this one ‼️“
