Kyoto Reviews
I thought the food here was excellent. I had the dynamite and volcano sushi rolls. I made those selections because the names sounded cool. They were delicious. I'm a white guy who still eats at Taco Bell at 40 years old. So take my review with a grain of salt.
Good food and service.
I usually get the Hibachi Chicken and it’s always usually good but this time I got the chicken and shrimp combination. The chicken was good as normal, but half of the shrimp tails were not removed and none of them had been deveined.

Kyoto is a Japanese restaurant that has been a local favorite for years. The restaurant offers a variety of traditional dishes, including shrimp, scallops, chicken, and beef. While the food is generally praised for its freshness and flavor, some customers have noted that the quality has declined over time, with the protein dishes becoming dry and the vegetable selection becoming limited. The restaurant's prices have also increased, leading some to feel that the value is no longer as good as it once was. However, many customers have had positive experiences, highlighting the great service and the delicious food. The gyoza and onion soup have been noted as the best at a Japanese restaurant. The sushi is described as delicious, and the hibachi plates are considered amazing. The Fried jalapeño roll and Fried Spicy crab roll are recommended for those who prefer less fishy options, while the Dragon roll, though a bit pricey, is said to be worth every penny. Boba tea is also mentioned as fresh and yummy, making it a perfect complement to the spicy sushi. Overall, Kyoto seems to be a mixed bag, with both loyal fans and disappointed customers, but it remains a popular choice for many.
