We went here for wine tasting and really enjoyed the wine tasting for 12 dollars a person. McCayla was an excellent server and we ended up buying a couple of bottles of wine. This is an extremely large bar/ restaurant that has an awesome atmosphere. It's definitely worth the 5 stars and we will return. Been back here several times for lunch and dinner. Great find in this small town! The food was excellent and slightly upscale, which we like. The wine list was extensive but we went with the local wine, which just like the food, was excellent. Pricing was affordable and we took home 4 bottles.
My husband and meet two friends at this restaurant for lunch every 2-3 months. They live in Blue Ridge, VA and we live in Charlotte, NC, so it is the perfect midpoint restaurant. We really like the restaurant a lot, but I'm finally going to say something about the waitress. We have the same one every time, and she just doesn't do the restaurant justice. She rushes us for no reason; maybe she thinks this is "efficiency" but it's not. She doesn't listen...
