“I would have given 5 stars had things been different.....

Went on Saturday evening. Arrived at 6:30. It was busy but not packed.
Since I was dining alone, I sat at the bar. It was probably a bad idea. The bar is rather high. Felt like I was a 6 year old sitting at the grown-up table. No worries. Had to wait at least 6-8 minutes for the server to approach me. Ordered a tall double Tito's with club soda and a splash of OJ. They do not have club soda. Ok... can deal with that. So I just asked to sub water for the club soda. Unfortunately, it was mostly OJ. It was definitely not a double either, as I confirmed when I got the check.
The free salsa was very pedestrian. Wasn't bad, just not very good. Ordered the Queso Loco, which was pretty good. Also ordered the Charro Beans. This was good as well(unfortunately, I found out after I left that they had double charged me for this). Decided to try their Tortilla soup. It was tasty and a large bowl. The only downside was that it had rice. Just a personal preference as I do not care for rice in soups.
Still, it was good nevertheless. My server only checked on me once during my visit. In her defense, she appeared to be the only server in the place. There are roughly 12-14 tables. Definitely understaffed. It took quite a while to get my check. All told I was there for 90+ minutes.

I would go back but only at a less busy time. I definitely would not sit at the bar. The atmosphere is average. Very plain appearance.“
