“First, very large outdoor and indoor seating available. Over 50 or so brews on tap, as well as wine and liquor options. I had the steak burger with jalapeño slaw, which was ok. Burger was thin but tasty. Slaw wasn't any slaw I've ever seen, kinda dry. Overall, it's a better place to get a brew than food, in my opinion. Would definitely go back.“

“Southern Tier brews some of the best beer in the WORLD!!The Charlotte location is a great spot to stop in for a beer, cider or a Southern Tier mixed drink. Today, our bartender Heath worked with the kitchen to accomodate our dietary restrictions. That's TOP NOTCH customer service!!! We love Southern Tier and can't wait for Pumpking to be released.“

“Nice beers: big selection and proposals. Prices are very high though: 23€ (tip less) for 2 (14 oz) beers it’s a lot. Service was nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: The service table is very high: not accessible for people on wheelchair: you should fix that!“

“We hosted our welcome party here the night before our wedding and it was HIT! So much fun. Excellent service from all of the staff. The food was amazing, dare I say better than their regular menu. Would definitely recommend hosting an event here!“
“We had an amazing networking event last night! The atmosphere at Protagonist was perfect for our event they had a full AV system which was incredibly helpful. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. Our guests had a great time! We’ll definitely be back!“

“Just stop for a drink. Please dont insist on anything else. Not that the bar can't handle it... just.... for the love of God...... please allow this bartender to tend bar and go get food somewhere else. He does amazing but we are better than this.... as customers.“

“Raegan has been our go to bartender for the last couple of years while connecting through CLT. The beers are always great (Beach Candy/Double Candy). When we can, we plan our flights around this bar. I rarely post reviews but felt the need to shout out a good spot. Thank you and until next time!“

“We’ve been to Traust twice now for karaoke nights, both times were great!! We had a birthday dinner there with about 25 people in our party, and Megan held it down!! She did awesome at keeping everyone’s drinks full and taking orders as people rolled in. She was attentive and friendly. Last night there was some drama with a strange man dancing around and trying to talk to our kids. Once I mentioned it to our server, she and several other staff members IMMEDIATELY ran this guy off. They do NOT play when it comes to child safety.“
