Jeff is amazing!!! So personable and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Such a people person! The crab cakes and grit cakes were so delicious. The she crab soup was the best I’ve ever had.

After waiting for only 30 minutes, which is nothing here at the OBX, we were seated at a table by a window. We were greeted by a nice server, but felt rushed to make decisions on what to order. I had a question between two things on the menu, she recommended the entree that was a special (rockfish topped with a crab sauce). The meal was tasteless. My baked potato was not quite baked long enough, and the fish was cooked very well but just was nothing special at all…hardly something...

Basnight's is always a good call in my book. I went with a friend on a Sunday evening for dinner. The hostess seated us right away. Our server came over within minutes and introduced herself and took our order. We got our food quickly and it was very good. Their portions are decent. Enjoy!
